Duke Head Coach Marissa Young

We are excited and honored to have Duke Softball head coach Marissa Young, joining us. Coach Young was a former 3x All American pitcher at the University of Michigan, big 10 Pitcher of the year and Big10 Player of the year.. No stranger to success as a player she has now found that success as a head coach. In July 2015, coach young was named the 1st head coach of Duke softball and tasked with building the first ever softball program at Duke. The inaugural season was 2018, and after just 2 complete seasons Duke secures first ACC championship in 2021 and makes first postseason (named ACC coach of year), and then continues to take the next step each year ( 2022 first super regional, 2023 hosted super regionals).
